Diallo

Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo entered the third round of the Citi Open coin tennis match on Tuesday, 6-3, 6-4.
Diallo’s 15th seed in Washington was the first round goodbye, having 10 aces and defeating Marozsan twice.
Marozsan, who had six double malfunctions, failed to transform his only chance to break Diallo’s serve.
Diallo improved to 2-0 against Marozsan, with another victory in the Davis Cup qualifier earlier this year.
Next, he will face the winner of the All-American match between the fourth seed Ben Shelton and the savage Mackenzie McDonald.
Diallo entered the competition with a career-high world ranking 35, ranking 30th in the Toronto Men’s National Bank Open. Masters level events begin on Saturday’s qualifying match.
