Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime advanced to the quarterfinals of the ABN AMRO Open men’s tennis tournament on Thursday.

Second seed Auger-Aliassime extended his winning streak to six games with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Serbian Hamad Medjedovic. The Montreal native had nine aces in total, while Medjedović had four.

Auger-Aliassime will face Netherlands’ Talon Grikspoor in Friday’s quarterfinals. The two tied 1-1 in head-to-head matches, but this will be the first time they have met indoors.

Auger-Aliassime defeated Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 7-6 (4) to defend his Occitany Open title in Montpellier on Sunday. This is the 25-year-old’s ninth career ATP title and first in 2026.

With the win, Auger-Aliassime surpassed Milos Raonic (eight) to become the Canadian with the most Tour-level titles in the Open Era.
