PGA tour has our friends up north for this week with the RBC Canadian Open. Given that the US is open next week there is obviously a lot of buzz in the air.
During the opening cycle of the play cycle on Thursday the visit was revealed to something surprising during distribution. While we are used to see the Shot tracers used all the time, this is not Tee Shot of Shane Lowry is different.

The Drone Shot Tracer was already amazing. One of the best changes to view I can remember.
Now it changes color based on Fairway opportunities.

As you can see a lowry tracer line change colors from blue to green. Green that means the Shot is likely to find Fairway. If Lowry’s Drive will be highly regarded right or left then the tracer will be red. This is very surprising.
This technology was done at times throughout all fourth day and in the days that followed and showed different guns so the colors. Sometimes one drive will start red and swap into green, this is because it is all based on how to be leap Drive will go.
It is difficult to establish in our current and age because technology is all the time. But this was a wonderful development from PGA trip, one hope it is a sign of a lot to come next time.
