Swiatek overcomes the wrong mistake to win South Korea’s open championship against Alexandrova

Seoul, South Korea – Top seed Igaświątek overcomes his bad first match, defeating No. 2 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova 1-6, 7-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5 and won the Korean Open on Sunday.
Świątek gave up his serve five times, defeating 6-2 on the ace, even better than Alexandrova who won the championship of Bialexandrova in a tense match at the Tennis Center in the Seoul Olympic Park, lasting nearly three hours.
Even Świątek couldn’t believe how she did it.
“First of all, I want to congratulate Ekaterina on an amazing week and an amazing final,” said No. 2 Świątek. “Honestly, I don’t know how I won because you played great and I just tried to keep my life.”
She praised Alexandrova, who ranked 11th, for the performance of the first set in 30 minutes.
“Hopefully we will play more finals because it’s always tough,” Świątek said. “But it’s also very interesting.”
Świątek’s extensive experience made her experience.
This is the third championship of the year for the six-time Grand Slam champions and ranks 25th overall. The 24-year-old Poland won the Cincinnati Open last month and won her first Wimbledon title in July.
In the WTA final, she improved to 25-5 overall and also cut personal milestones.
“I’m so happy to win here because of family history,” she said. “My dad can’t win the Olympics (here), but at least I won the game. So hopefully he’ll come and enjoy it next year.”
Her father, Tomaszświątek, participated in the Polish boater at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
