Sinners return to the United States after setting up Bublik

NEW YORK – Jannik Sinner ruled the only player besides Carlos Alcaraz beat him this season, beating him 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 on Monday night to return to the U.S. Open quarterfinals.
The top seed sinner’s victory took only 1 hour and 21 minutes, the second shortest game in the game. Tomas Machac’s first round victory was a minute short.
Sinner lost to Bublik in a warm-up tournament in Wimbledon in June, but played on the grassland. Trying to beat the defending U.S. Open Championship is a completely different story, and it is almost impossible today.
Sinner won 25 Grand Slams on that ostensibly, including the last two Australian Opens, and his first U.S. Open trophy last year.
He will face fellow Italians from Lorenzo Musetti on Wednesday. Another quarterfinal of the day will be ranked 8th in Alex de Minaur vs. Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The No. 23 seed from Kazakhstan is one of the hottest tennis players, with 11 consecutive victories and three championships in the ATP Tour, the second best for the six this year after Alcaraz.
He won all 55 service matches in this game, but Sina broke him eight times.
Bublik can only smile at times, including after the game, when he seems to tell Sinner that his players are not bad.
Sinners have increased to 35-4 this year. Alcaraz beat him in Rome and Cincinnati in the French Open final, Sina was sick and had to stop playing in the first set.
