Djokovic is not sure if he will play at the French Open again after the semifinals

Paris – Novak Djokovic is unsure that he will play in the French Open again after losing to top ranked Jannik Sinner in Friday’s semifinals.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion has doubts about whether he will return to Roland-Garros next year, when he will be 39 years old. After losing 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 (3), Djokovic spent some time putting down his bag and applauding all aspects of Philippe-Chatrier.
“I mean, this is probably the last game I’ve played here, so I don’t know. That’s why I’ll even be even more excited in the end,” Djokovic said.
“But if this is a farewell match for Roland-Garros in my career, it’s a great match in terms of the atmosphere and what you get from the crowd.”
After his defeat, he kissed his hand and placed it on the clay, as if to say goodbye to the French Open for his third-time champion. He pulled his luggage, looked high at the stands, and headed to the tunnel.
“I want to play more, yes, I’ll do it. But I don’t know I can play here in 12 months,” Djokovic said. “I said this might be my last game (here), and I didn’t say yes.”
Djokovic said he certainly intends to play at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, but is unsure of his plans after that.
