Dabrovsky, Canada, Meckett of Croatia fell in Wimbledon’s mixed doubles

LONDON – Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Croatia’s Nikola Mektic defeated US Robert Galloway and Indonesia’s Aldila Sutjiadi 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the second round of mixed doubles tennis action in Wimbledon on Saturday.
The fifth seeds Dabrowski and Mektic shot six acs to four double faults and won 61% of their first-place score.
They also broke three of the seven chances.
Galloway and Sutjiadi had 3 to eight double failures and won 66% of the first choice point.
They broke four times in five chances in the 43-minute game in one hour.
Dabrowski, the only Canadian at Wimbledon, will compete in 16 rounds of women’s doubles with New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe on Monday against Hungary’s Fanny Stollar and Russia’s Irina Khromacheva.
