Thanksgiving ball is here. It’s just a big day – on both a technical and collegiate scale. The NFL’s three-way slate is tipped with the biggest matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Both teams should have it in their playoff hopes. Kansas City is 6-5; Dallas is 5-5-1.

Let’s get into my ranks vs cowboys predictions.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas cowboys add

Money Line: Chiefs -185 / Cowboys +154
Spread: Chiefs -3.5 (-105) / Cowboys +3.5 (-115)
Total: Over 52.5 (-110) / Under 52.5 (-110)

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys Best Bet #1: Cowboys +3.5 (-110)

It’s only week 13, but the Cowboys are still coming off a real entry this season with relative success – certainly compared to where this team was earlier in the year, and as recently as the trade deadline. An important two-game winning streak had a respectable 24-21 upset by Philadelphia last weekend, an exhibition that saw Dallas overcome a 21-0 deficit. The Eagles did not score any points in the last 41 minutes of the afternoon, a clear indication of the strike made by the COWBOYS. The trade-deadline acquisitions of Tackle Quinnen Williams and Linebacker Logan Wilson were certainly something. As for the case, it has never been a problem. Dak Prescott is third in the league in passing yards and second in passing TDs. George Pickns has made 18 catches on 20 carries for 290 yards and two scores over the past two weeks.

The Chiefs offense just wasn’t the same as it was in recent years. Travis Kelce’s production is slowing down and the ground game isn’t much bigger than his absence. They had lost two games in a row before just crushing the visiting Colts last weekend. The Cowboys have lost just once at home in 2025 – a far cry from their efforts at AT&T Stadium last season. At the very least they should be able to keep this game close from start to finish.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys Best Player Player: Patrick Mahomes over 266.5

Mahomes has been on a roll of late – maybe not the magnitude of his MVP-winning season, but still pretty darn good. He has surpassed that number by 266.5 in the last four games, including a 352-yard effort against the Colts. That was preceded by a 276-yard performance against the Broncos, which is one of the best in football.

Now Mahomes faces a Dallas defense that may have improved slightly but is still scary against the pass. The Cowboys have allowed the third-most passing yards per game and the third-most passing yards attempted in the entire organization.
