De Minaur vs khachanov, medvevev vs sonengo

Four undrafted players remain in Paris, including Lorenzo Sonego – who will fight Daniil Medveveev on Thursday for a place in the quarter. The third round also features a showdown between Alex de Minaur and Karen Khachanov.
(10) Karen Khachanov vs. (6) Alex de Minaur
De Minaur and Khachanov will be looking for the fourth time in their careers when they meet three times at the Rolex Paris Masters on Thursday. Khachanov leads the head-to-head series 2-1 after being named the toughest on the hard courts in Vienna in 2024. The 14th level Russian is now played in what should be considered. He is 18-7 for life in Paris with a title in 2018, a quarterfinal showing in 2023, and a start last fall. So far this week he has defeated Ethan Quinn Quinn and Basel Champion Joao Fonseca.

De Minaur followed that up with a 7-6 (8), 4-6, 6-3 win over Gabriel Diallo. The sixth-ranked Australian is 13-3 in his last 16 games and is close to clinch a spot in Turin. He’s reached at least a quarterback in four straight contests and six of the last seven. Look for that streak to continue for De Minaur, but it won’t be easy against Khachanov given the Parisian setting.

Lorenzo Sonego Vs. (11) Daniil Medvevevev
The odds seem to be falling for Medvedev, who needs the paris trophy to surrender any chance of the Nitto ATP Fifelff. Carlos Alcaraz is already out and the third opponent Lorenzo Musetti is expected as well, so the 29-year-old Russian is Jannik who is far from a realistic argument. Medverev used Medis e Shemis in Shanghai, captured the Almaty title, beating Basel Semifinalist Jauume Manar 6-1, 6-3 before receiving a mullover from grigor dimitrov.
Up next to Nodwa 13 is SONEGO, who is drifting 3-0 in the head-to-head series. The 45th-ranked Italian took only one set against Medvevevevevev. Sonego’s win over Compatriot Lorenzo Musetti on Wednesday ended 17 losses against top 10 opponents and was a win for Mayvevev.
