Canada will face Kazakhstan in the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers in mid-April

Tennis Canada said Monday that fourth-ranked Canada has been drawn to play ninth-ranked Kazakhstan in April’s Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.
The winning team will advance to the eight-team finals in Shenzhen, China, in September.
Host Kazakhstan will choose the venue and venue for the best-of-five match on April 10-11 at a later date.
There will be two singles matches on the first day. Day two will begin with doubles matches, followed by two singles matches.
Canada qualified for the 2025 playoffs by finishing first in its group. Team Canada wins the 2024 Women’s Team Championship.
