The Pope and the Sinner: The Game of Love, Service and Heaven

Rome – Jannik Sinner said it was “a good thing for our tennis players” that the new pope enjoyed playing the sport. Even Leo Xiv jokes that he doesn’t want to schedule a game with the top-ranked players – ostensibly because of his name.
At a meeting between the new American Pope and international media on Monday, reporters proposed playing doubles or organizing charity games. Leo seems to be a game, “but we cannot invite sinners,” he obviously refers to the English meaning of the sinner’s last name.
In a post-match press conference, Singer was asked at the post-match press conference where he defeated Jesper de Jong 6-4, 6-2 at the Italian Open, which was commented by the pope, which was staged from the Vatican’s Tibi River.
The sinner took some time to respond and blushed, as he said: “Why are you trying to make me difficult?”
Then Sina added: “Obviously, I heard he played as a kid. I think it’s a good thing for us tennis players to have a pope who loves the sport.”
So what about having a rally meeting with Leo?
“For the sake of the future, we will see it,” Sina said. “Who knows?”
