Swaitetk, Osaka, Gauff, Fritz among the top participants

The United Cup 2026 is set for January 2-11 in Sydney and Perth. It is the fourth annual entry of the 18-team event divided into six groups of three countries for the round-robin competition. The winners of the six teams and the two best runners-up will form the Tuterfinal of eight.
Sydney will host the quarterfinals (January 8-9), Semis (January 10), and the final (January 11).
Each tie consists of men’s singles rubber, women’s singles rubber, and mixed doubles. High quality Time-of-Timebreak singing games. Doubles doubles matches are played in two sets of time
“We are very proud of this competition for what it should and celebrate, that our major sports of tennis are played by many amazing athletes in both sports,” said the director of the Tournen Farrow. “Bringing those athletes together to play and not big points and prizes just money or their country and country pride is what makes this competition so special.
“It’s a tough and exciting atmosphere and loads of fans will be watching. Some of the best players in the world, who are really involved and want to win there on the court in Perth and Sydney. We have a lot to look forward to in January.”

The United States is the defending champion, and its bid to go back-to-back on the floor will be showcased by Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz. Other WTA stars in action are Iga Swiatek (Poland), Naomi Osaka (Japan), Emma RaduCanu (Great Britain), and Victoria Mboko (Canada). Among other ATP participants are Alexander Zenver (Germany), Felix auger-Aliassime (Canada), Alex de Minaur (Australia), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece).
The Americans won again in 2023, and Germany lifted the medal in 2024. Poland has finished runner-up two straight times.
