It will be the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. New England’s return to the top of the AFC ended with a 10-7 victory over snowy Denver on Sunday afternoon. In the NFC Championship, the Seahawks defeated their rival Rams 31-27.

This is a matchup between two quarterbacks who were — or still are — in the mix for NFL MVP honors. Although Drake Maye of the Patriots and Sam Darnold of the Seahawks have not been proven in the big league in football, both have stood out this season. The weather in the AFC title game prevented New England from doing much offensively, but Maye still came up with some plays under pressure. Darnold was great from start to finish in the NFC Championship.
Star power in this Super Bowl game includes Seattle WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who will be named NFL Player of the Year. All things considered, I think two strong offenses will have the upper hand over two strong defenses. New England averaged 28.8 ppg during the regular season; Seattle averaged 28.4.
