Sinner vs. Michelsen, Cerundolo vs. Humbert

Jannik Sinner leads the Miami Masters 1000 into Tuesday’s fourth round against Alex Michelsen. Miami magician Francisco Cerundolo from Argentina will also be playing with Ugo Humbert from France.
(2) Jannik Sinner vs. Alex Michelsen
The Miami Open has not been kind to the top players. It’s round 16, and only three of the top 10 seeds are still active – but one of those is Jannik Sinner, who has been close to flawless in the Sunshine Double so far. The Indian Wells champion is no closer to dropping a set in Miami.
Tuesday’s opponent Alex Michelsen won’t be easy on an opponent like Damir Dzumhur or Corentin Moutet, but it’s hard to imagine the American Sinner playing long enough to get a set. The Italian holds a 2-0 record against Michelsen and is on the verge of making it 3-0.
Cheryl choose: Sinner at 2
Ricky choose: Sin at 2
(31) Ugo Humbert vs. (18) Francisco Cerundolo
Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo has played some very impressive tennis in Miami. First, he has a lot of support from the Argentinean fans who often open to Miami; he comes again to the event from his usual success during the Golden Swing on South American clay.

Humbert is the better player in the tight field and looked good this week – especially in his straight run of Gabriel Daillo in the second round. However, Cerundolo knocked out Daniil Medvedev in the third round. There is some risk of being upset, but I’m going with the Argentinian.
Pick Cheryl: Cerundolo out of 3
Ricky pick: Humbert at 2
