Sabalenka defeats Rebakiner at the Berlin Open

Berlin – The highest-ranked Aryna Sabalenka made a “crazy comeback” and saved four games in the quarterfinals of the Berlin Open Tennis Championship on Friday.
Sabalenka defeated 6-2 in the final tiebreak, but attacked, scored six straight points to the eighth semifinal of the season.
“Elena is a great player and we had a lot of tough fights,” Sabalenka said. “I don’t know how I can win the last point. I think I’m lucky.
“I remember a long time ago when I first started, I won a lot of games, it was a match point game, and not long ago I thought it had been a while since I was crazy back, and I was here.
“It’s amazing to win this game. I’m proud of my residence. I’ve been fighting and I’ve been trying until the last little bit.”
Sabalenka Next faced Marketa Vondrousova, who beat Ons Jabeur 6-4, 6-1.
Liudmila Samsonova also beat Amanda Anisimova 6-1, 6-1.
Samsonova will meet Wang Xinyu next after opponent Paula Badosa loses the first set 6-1. After opponent Paula Badosa is forced to evacuate due to a rib injury.
