Holger Rune ripped his achi Filles in the open Nordic limits against Ugo Humbert this past Saturday. Rune was leading 6-4, 2-2 when he quickly pulled away as he ran into his forehand.

Rune confirmed the diagnosis on Sunday.
“It will be a while before I get on the court,” the 22-year-old wrote on Instagram. “It’s hard. I had so much fun on the court in Stockholm and it’s unbearable to think that I won’t feel this energy for a while now.
“My achilles is broken in the upper part which means I need to work already next week and start all over again and again.
