Djokovic signed in Adelaide ahead of the Australian Open

Novak Djokovic will play at least one warmup tournament before the Australian Open in 2026, as he recently confirmed his participation in the upcoming Adelaide International.
Djokovic went 10-0 in Adelaide with two titles. The current world number 4 started winning in 2007, when he knocked out Joachim Johansson in the semis and Chris Guccione in the final. His run to the 2023 title featured victories over Denis Shapovalov, Daniil Medvedev, and Sebastian Korda. Djokovic saved a point in the final against Korda.
“It definitely felt like I was playing at home, that’s for sure,” the Serb said after the 2023 event. “The support I’ve had in the last 10 days, I don’t think I’ve experienced it many times in my life — so I’m very grateful to everyone for coming out of one game.”
The Adelaide ATP 250 takes place in week 2 of next season’s calendar, running from January 12-17. The Australian Open draw begins on January 18.
Also in the Adelaide field are Jack Draper, Joao Fonseca, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tommy Paul.
