Paris R2 preview and predictions: Medvevev vs. dimitrov, bublik vs. moutet

The kings of Paris warmed up with Daniil Medveveev taking on Grigor Dimitrov and Alexander Bublik bettling the French outfit.
(11) Daniil Medvevevev vs grigor dimitrov
Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov has been chasing Daniil Medvedev since 2017. It has never been a kind thing for Bulgarians. Medvedev is 8-3 against Dimitrov. The world number 38 has been 38 since July, when he showed off his sharp muscles in the round of 16 at Wimbledon. Dimitrov played well in his first round against his own Giovanni Mpetshi, but will enter MedveveveV on Wednesday.
Daniil Medveveev has found his game after months of drought. He had Asian success after crashing out of the US open in the first round. The Russian had an impressive and complete reserve over tough opponent Jaumeran Munar in his Open this week. Medvedev is well positioned to make his way to the business end of this event.

(13) Alexander Bublik vs. Moutet
Of all the other good matches happening around the grounds at the Paris Masters, perhaps none is more compelling than watching the second round between Alexander Bublik and Korentin Boutet. This is because the last time they played each other (at the beginning of the year at the Phoenix Challenger), Bublik gave up without saying “step out and fight” after a tight hand.
Chair Umpire Marta Mrozinka and Supervisor Jaime Chavez came from the court and tried to separate the situation. Eyes will be on this game tomorrow. Moutet will be playing in front of a home crowd, and Bublik is playing the best tennis of his career – by a certain margin.
WIN should go to Bublik – The question is whether or not there will be firefighters. The crowd will definitely want a reason to open the bublik so grab your popcorn.
