Officials vs. Chiefs MnF Odds, previews, picks, and predictions

Monday Night Football in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season features a showdown between the Washington Chiefs and the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams are getting off to a rough start, but their playoff ambitions remain alive. Washington enters with a 3-4 record, while Kansas City is 4-3.
Let’s get into my predictions for Commander vs. Chiefs Precisions.
Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds
Money Line: Chiefs +520 / Chiefs -720
Spread: Chiefs +11.5 (-110) / Chiefs -11.5 (-110)
Total: Over 47.5 (-115) / Under 47.5 (-105)
Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Best Bet #1: Chiefs +11 (-120)
The Chiefs are playing better than ever the first four weeks of the year and their improved outlook has improved with rice back from a six-game suspension, but they give up more than 11 points. Given how bad the Ravens have played when the Chiefs beat them, Kansas City has only beaten one of the best teams so far in 2025 (Detroit). I don’t think Coach Andy Ali’s team relies on Clobber completely washington adffit.
Jayden Daniels is out of control, but Marcus Mariota is no quarterback. Mariota has a ton of experience starting in the NFL and has already played well in two of his three starts this year. Washington has lost by double digits just once in 2025 and also has a 17-point deficit over the Chargers. The visitors should be able to run the ball effectively against the Chiefs, and a strong running game will often keep any underdogs from doing so.
Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Best Player Bet: Jacory Croskey-Merritt over 48.5 rushing yards (-111)
Washington has every reason to keep the ball on the ground tonight. One, Daniels is not kidding. Two, the best defense against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense is to keep him — and all of his weapons — on the field as long as possible. The managers wanted to shorten the game and repeated Kc’s case on the sideline. The way to do that, of course, is to move the ball to croskey-merritt.
JCM has already surpassed the 60-point mark three times this season, including the last two. Kansas City is stellar against the pass (third in passing defense and eighth in yards per attempt allowed), but its defense is very generous against the run (4.5 yards per carry allowed). Croskey-Merritt should be in line for a big night.
