The 19-year-old Spaniard beat Learner Tien in the 2025 NextGen ATP final, reached the second round of the Australian Open as a qualifier, successfully qualified in Dallas, and advanced to one round in Delray Beach before losing to Taylor Fritz. He has reached number 114 in the world.
Norrie has been in a bit of a slump over the last year or so following a difficult 2024 campaign. The British left-hander has returned to 26th place in the rankings and has already taken the coveted six-match tourney win in 2026. He has advanced to the quarters (2021), semis (2019), and finals (2022) of Acapulco, so his experience in this tournament – and in general – should serve him well against many of your opponents.

(6) Valentin Vacherot vs. (LL) Coleman Wong
Wong is already in his second career in Acapulco after being beaten by Patrick Kypson 6-3, 6-0 in the final qualifying round on Sunday. It’s been a busy season of tennis for Wong, who started the month with Davis Cup work on the hard courts of Hong Kong and then played five matches last week in Delray Beach – where he reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier before falling to Flavio Cobolli.
The following worldwide No. 125 the very first meeting with Vacherot, who has the benefit of remaining. The 27th country from Monaco lost quickly in Delray Beach to Alex Michelsen, so he already has a lot of time in Acapulco to get used to the conditions.
