Nitto ATP Finals Tennis Pick and Prediction: Alcaraz vs. de minaur

Carlos Alcaraz and Alex de Minaur will kick off the 2025 nitto atp finals when they clash during the round robin competition at the Jimmy Connoon runs on Sunday afternoon in Tundani.
ALCARAZ swept the Head-to-Head 4-0, but De Minaurs forced twice the final set on the indoor court (Alcaraz won 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in the Rotterdam Championship). De Minaur even had a match point in Barcelona only to see the Spaniard save in spectacular fashion and eventually go in 6-7 (4), 4-6.
The seventh-ranked Australian should be happy that he is in Alcaraz’s team rather than Jannik Sinner (he is 0-11 against the Italian), and the underdog certainly has a chance in this game. De Minaur wrapped up a long streak where he captured the ATP 500 title in Washington, DC and reached the quarterfinals at each major. The 26-year-old has advanced to at least the quarterfinals of all four of his events during the 2025 Fall Swing.

As usual, Alcaraz’s results have been a mixed bag since opening. World 2 gone 1
Neither player has an encouraging history in Turin. Alcaraz made only two appearances, compiling a 3-4 overall game record. It’s also worth noting that he’s 0-2 in openers, including a disappointing 6-1, 7-5 comeback against Casper Ruud 12 months ago. De Minaur went 0-3 in his last fall.
This is more of a pitch than a position and head record will raise. The end of the year championship could start with a result that will be treated as a huge upset but in reality it will not be a surprise.
Choose: de Minaur in 3
