Mputshi Perricard vs Dimitrov, Bublik vs Popyrin

The final Masters event of the season starts on Monday in Paris with young French stars Giovanni Mpenshi Piovanni Mpetshi Alexander Bublik and Alexei Popyrin in action.
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard vs grigor dimitrov
The last time Grigor Dimitrov played tennis, it was in July and he officially had Jannik Diner on the ropes in the fourth round at Wimbledon. And “on the ropes” means that he had grown two tips that will never work and work when he rips sharp muscles and tears the court. You’ve missed an entire season … until this week.
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard has fought against consistency in 2025. His results have ranged from great (he made three semifinals this season) to … not great (he has a losing record and a whopping 12 shutouts). His US Open performance has improved, but Dimitrov is a tricky first opponent.
With ldpetshi playing at home and dimitrov facing rust, I offer the frenchman french – with the footnote that if dimitrov is going to win on monday, it wouldn’t be worth it.

Alexander Bublik vs Alexei Popyrin
This game has the potential to be the best on the docket in Paris on Monday. Alexander Bublik is playing the best tennis of his career – and it’s not close, either. He has four titles this season, one of which he picked up a few weeks ago in Hangzhou. He remains at a career high of 16th in the world, especially notable because he was ranked 82ND in March.

Alexei Palrin hasn’t had the same kind of stellar season as his opponent, but he does have three wins over the Kazakh since 2018. Nothing suggests that popyrin is the kind of form needed to send a bublik, but he knows exactly how to pressure him. I think this one can go the distance.
