Andrey Rublev won the ATP’s Arthur Ashe Ambassadorial Award for 2025 on Monday.
Rublel was widely recognized for his efforts with the Andrey Rublev Foundation, which he launched in March of 2024. The foundation is “dedicated to supporting children around the world who are facing critical medical challenges.” It currently has ongoing projects in Barcelona and Uganda.
“I’m really happy to win the Arthur Ashe Cuntitarian Award,” said Rublev in his acceptance video. “We are working hard to develop our base. We are learning, it is a new thing for us. It has only been two years, we will continue to grow the base and do better things.”
He added in a post on his foundation’s website: “I’ve been very fortunate to play the game professionally to have great medical privilege and to be able to help myself face a critical future because of the resources I’m lucky because I’m lucky because I’m lucky enough to be lucky enough.”
2025 ATP ATPs are being announced throughout this week. Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavason were named as the fans’ favorite team on Tuesday.
