Every year, I hear the same thing: “We have great coaches, great facilities and a lot of energy…but registration isn’t where to be.”

Let’s solve this problem.

The following is Five proven strategies This will help you fill the tennis camp early, cause buzz, and build long-term motivation for your plans.

1. Define what makes your camp stand out

Common camp name and description no longer work. You need to explain why your campsite is worth choosing in one place on the street.

Think about what makes your campsite unique. Is it your elite coach? Tour level training? Unique themed week, competition format or fitness-centric meeting? Parents are not only looking for drills. They want value, safety and a camp to build true skills and confidence.

Example: Summer Elementary Plans Can Tourism-level training on clay. This is the type of camp to be booked. Why? Because they told a clear, specific product, this is very prominent. Try the same attempt based on your club features.

2. Promote earlier than you think

Many camps began pushing for registration in May. By then, many parents had already made summer plans.

Starting in February, starting with early bird promotions. Use March and April to share recommendations, behind-the-scenes content and stories of returning campers. By May, your messaging should establish urgency and include a countdown.

Expert tips:

Offer 10% early bird discount in February and fill out multiple courses in advance. Once the spots start to fill, it will produce an urgency chain reaction and fear of missing out.

3. Market like a professional

Posting flyers at the front desk is not enough.

Modern parents scroll instagram to check out the skimmed email between Facebook and school pickups and get off the car. To get their attention, your marketing needs to meet them.

This is:

  • Use Instagram Reel to Highlight a Day in Your Camp Life
  • Use Facebook to emphasize structure, security and development
  • By sending emails to past families and offering earlier discounts
  • Use retargeting ads to follow up families who have visited your site but are not registered

Tips from old-fashioned marketers:

Flyers are still helpful when done correctly. We covered how to create effective tennis flyers in e-books, Tennis Club Marketing 101available on Amazon Kindle.

Word of mouth remains the most powerful marketing tool you have. Players and parents are encouraged to pass:

  • Provide simple recommendation incentives (such as discounts or free merchandise)
  • Post quick recommended videos
  • “Bring a Friend Friday” in the Spring Clinic

Simple recommendation strategy:

Ask parents to take a short video, answer 5 simple questions with their phone camera, and then send them to you:

  1. Why did you choose this camp?
  2. How will your child feel every day?
  3. What improvements have you noticed?
  4. Would you recommend this camp to others?

Post it on your website, email it to potential customers, and share it on social media channels. These referrals build trust faster than any ad.

5. Generate urgency and scarcity

People feel they may miss the time to take action.

If you have a limited location, say so. Tell your family if you are close to your ability. Post reminders, e.g.Only 3 spots left in the second week” and”The campsite is 80%.
