Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo won 16 men’s singles in the Rolex Shanghai Masters Tennis Championship with a 12-minute victory on Saturday night.

Diallo has twelve minutes in 32 rounds against David Goffin, while the Belgian player is 3-0 in retirement due to injury.

Diallo will face the winner of the match between Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo and Belgium’s Zizou Bergs.

In the other 32 games, Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ontario plans to play Jiri Lehecka of Czechia, while Felix Auger-Aliassime of Montreal plans to play Jesper de Jong of Netherlands.

Meanwhile, the Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, who served large-scale service, allowed fourth-ranked Taylor Fritz to beat the fourth round 6-4, 7-5.
