The highlight of Tsitsipas’ 2024 tennis season was his victory at the 2024 Monte Carlo Masters, where he defeated Casper Ruud 6-1, 6-4 in the final to claim his third Monte Carlo title in four years.

Stefanos played only one warm-up match (Manchester United Cup) before participating in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year (Australian Open).

February 2023
Earlier this month, Stefanos helped Greece defeat Ecuador 3-1 in the 2023 Davis Cup final qualifying match.
Tsitsipas’ next match was the ATP 500 event in Rotterdam, where he lost in the second round to Jannik Sinner 6-3, 6-4.
He was also scheduled to compete in the Mexican Open in Acapulco, but withdrew due to an ongoing shoulder injury.

Stefanos competed in the Indian Wells and Miami Masters in March but lost before the quarterfinals of both tournaments.

In April, Stefanos returned to his favorite playing surface (clay) and reached the quarter-finals in Monte Carlo/Madrid and the final in Barcelona (losing to Carlos Alcaraz 6-3, 6-4 in the final).
