Elina Svitolina eliminates Jasmine Paolini at the French Open to reach quarterfinals

Paris – Elina Svitolina saved three match points and eliminated 2024 runner-up Jasmine Paolini on Sunday, 4-6, 7-6 (6), 6-1, 6-1, to win her fifth French Open quarterfinals.

Svitolina, the 13th seed from Ukraine, was a three-time Grand Slam semi-final – two distances between Wimbledon and Wimbledon, but 0-4 in the quarterfinals of Roland-Garros.
