Monday night football in week 14 of the 2025 NFL season is a showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Chargers in LA even though both teams are 8-4, all is not perfect for anyone. Philadelphia is in a two-game losing streak, and Los Angeles is two games back in the West.

We have seen this story before with eagles. Yes, they won the Super Bowl last season — but the 2023 campaign was a complete disaster down the stretch. It doesn’t reach that level (yet) in 2025, but the similarities are starting to build. Philadelphia has lost two games in a row and the offense has been down that stretch. Before this current skid, the Eagles scored 26 points in Ugly wins over the Packs and Lions. Quarterback Jalen Hearts has struggled to throw the ball down the field, Aj Brown remains unhappy, and sakloon barkley is just saquon 2024.
The Chargers have dealt with their problems on offense, but the offensive line has been found to be effective, Justin Herbert (hand injury in his non-throwing arm) should be good to go, and rookie running back Hampton is back in demand as the Bears’ running game suffered on Black Friday. Chicago passed for 281 yards and was rushed for 425 total yards during a 24-15 upset victory in Philly. Playing in a home game against a reuling opponent that stays three times away, the bolts have a good chance to win this one outright.

Hampton is finally back from his ankle injury and will play for the first time since Week 5
He has every reason to pick up where he left off looking at his great performance on Monday Night Football. Philly’s run defense hasn’t been good all year and it was especially poor against chicago in week 13. The Eagles have given up 2025 rushing touchdowns – even more than 12 passing TDs. Chargers RB2 Kimani Vidal will get a fair amount of touches as Hampton works its way back into the game, but Vidal certainly isn’t a linebacker. I expect hampton to be featured whenever Los Angeles approaches Endomone. +170 is a great value.
