As usual, the BNP Paribas Open doubles field is loading.
This tournament is simply the best in the world in doubles. In addition to the Eisenhower Cup doubles exhibition that precedes the main draw action, the doubles fields on both the men’s and women’s sides are always stacked. If players are losing singles, a little doubles tennis can give them a reason to stay longer in Tennis Paradise.
The 2026 installment of the men’s doubles event is no different. Among the contestants are Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ben Shelton, Alexander Bublik, Daniil Medvedev, and Frances Tiafoe.
Djokovic is partnered with Stefanos Tsitsipas, and will face Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic in the first round. Sinner and Reilly Opelka, who won the Atlanta title together in 2021, drew the top-seeded pairing of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos. Medvedev and Learner Tien also form one of the marquee duos. They quarreled with cousins Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot. Another match to watch is Auger-Aliassime and Sebastian Korda vs. Zverev and Marcelo Melo.
