Canada’s Denis Shapovalov reached the semifinals at the Mifel Tennis Open on Thursday, beating Australia’s Tristan schoolkate 6-3, 6-2.
Shapovalov from Richmond Hill, Ontario takes an hour and 17 minutes to complete the victory.
His ace advantage is 10-2 and converts all four breakout points.
Shapovalov will next play the Australian quarterfinal champion between Adam Walton and James Duckworth.
