Canadian auger – Aliass time in the Hamburg Open semifinal

When Felix Auger-Aliassime is next to the court, it will be at the French Open.

The Canadians lost 6-1, 6-4 to Andrey Rublev in the semifinals of Friday’s Hamburg Open, ending his final clay field tune before his second Grand Slam of the season.

Auger-Aliassime, 24, from Montreal, lost 1-7 in his career record of Rublev in Russia, as he managed to win only 38% of his second score.

The Canadian has yet to double-break outage fired five ACEs but missed his only break.

Rublev will face Italy’s Flavio Cobolli in Saturday’s final.

The German game marks the first three clay season wins for Oregon-Aliassime. He was sore in the back when he opened it from the Italian.

In Roland Garros’ 29th seed, Auger-Aliassime will open with its first round against Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi.
