Bublik’s first Top 10, Medvedev wins the No

Alexander Bublik will enter the top 10 for the first time in his career on Monday after winning the Bank of China Open title on Sunday, defeating top seed Lorenzo Musetti 7-6(2), 6-3. Bublik served at 76%, hit 10 aces, and broke Musetti three times during his victory in one hour and 38 minutes.
“The only goal of this season was to reach the top ten, and in the first week I won the title and entered the top ten,” commented the 28-year-old Kazakh. If you had told me that last April I would not have believed you. But it’s a pleasure and I hope to continue in the same way.”
Shockingly, Musetti still hasn’t won an ATP title since 2022. The consolation for the Italian, however, is that he will break into the top five for the first time on Monday.
At the Brisbane International, Daniil Medvedev extended his impressive record of winning all his titles in different cities. Medvedev captured his 22nd ATP title at the 22nd tournament when he defeated Brandon Nakashima 6-2, 7-6(1) on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Russian jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first set and was in control almost the entire way. He was broken for the first time in the match as he worked his way to a 5-4 win in the second, but settled in the next tiebreaker.
Medvedev was in a joking mood on Twitter following his victory.
