It’s true that the Eagles’ offense has been punting, but it’s too talented to be managed for very long. We’re talking about guys like Saquon Backley, Jalen Pain, Aj Brown, and Divona Smith. Philadelphia’s offensive line is growing, but Chicago may not be able to take advantage. Even if he’s healthy, the Bears’ pass rush has never been good in 2025 (23 sacks). And it certainly isn’t healthy right now. The visitors do not have one starting player available on Friday; TJ Edward, Ruben Hyppolite II, and Noah Sewell all co-produced. De Domininque Robinson and CB Tyrique Stevenson also on the shelf; CB Jaylon Johnson is questionable.

There is no denying that Balkley have been pressing this season, especially of late. The Penn State standout has rushed for just one touchdown since Week 4 and is coming off a 22-yard performance against the Cowboys.
That aside, there’s no reason to freak out about this related funk. Buckley remains productive in 2025 – not compared to last year. He’s coming in with 684 rushing yards, 259 receiving yards, and six TDs. He has gained at least 83 yards on the ground in two of the last four games, including a 150-yard showing against the Giants on October 26. Backley has been good (by most players’ standards). Time for him to get back to being – big.
