Zverev, Sheldon will clash in BMW Open final

Munich – Best seed Alexander Zverev will play the record-breaking third-place ATP Munich champion after entering the finals on Saturday.

Support from the German cycling family crowd will face the second seed Ben Sheldon among Sunday’s decision-makers on the BMW Open.

In the semifinals, Zverev lost only once when he beat Fabian Marozsan 7-6 (3). Marozsan made 28 unmandatory mistakes.

Sheldon overcame Francisco Cerundolo, the fifth seed, 2-6, 7-6 (7), and defeated the final 6-4. Sheldon beat twice in the tiebreak.

He reached his fourth professional final after winning in Houston last year, finishing second in clay.
