Auger-Aliassime advances to ATP finals with help from Djokovic

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime is the eighth and final ATP Finals qualifier.

The Montreal native’s place will be determined by the winner of Saturday’s Greek Championship tennis final between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti.

Djokovic, who has qualified for the eight-man event, defeated Musetti 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 to win the 101st ATP title of his career and a record 72nd hard court title.

If Musetti wins, he will be crowned champion and qualify for the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.

The ATP Finals runs from Sunday to November 16.

Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, Jannik Sinner of Italy, Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton of the United States, Alex De Minaur of Australia and Alexander Zverev of Germany make up the remaining participants in the upcoming tournament.
