Alcaraz wins Qatar Open title in just 50 minutes and remains unbeaten in 2026

DOHA, Qatar — Carlos Alcaraz defeated Arthur Fils 6-2, 6-1 in just 50 minutes on Saturday to win the Qatar Open final.

The 22-year-old Spanish star extended his winning streak to 12 matches in 2026 and 20 days later became the youngest player to complete a career Grand Slam at the Australian Open – meaning he won all four tennis majors.

“It’s been a really strong start to the year,” Alcaraz said.

With his win in Doha, his total number of Tour-level titles reaches 26.
