Alcaraz adds a New York-themed tattoo to his Grand Slam haul

At least one thing will stay with Carlos Alcaraz forever.
No, not Juan Carlos Ferrero. A tattoo commemorating his pair of US Open titles.
Alcaraz, whose longtime relationship with his trainer ended earlier this month, recently got tattoos of the Declaration of Independence and the Brooklyn Bridge. The 22-year-old Spaniard won the Grand Slam for the first time in his career at the 2022 US Open and also lifted the trophy in New York this past summer.
“I’m going to do two things,” Alcaraz said in a post-match press conference after defeating Jannik Sinner in the final. “I made a bet at the beginning of the tournament: Brooklyn Bridge. And obviously the Statue of Liberty. I’m going to do both. And the day. Because this one is special. I have to draw myself twice.”
World No. 1 also has the Wimbledon trophy (titles in 2023 and 2024) and the Eiffel Tower of the French Open (titles in 2024 and 2025). He has yet to win the Australian Open.
“I’ll get a kangaroo [tattoo] for sure – that’s my opinion,” Alcaraz said during the 2025 Aussie Open before losing in the quarterfinals to Novak Djokovic. “It’s not just about lifting the trophy here, but it’s definitely a plan if it happens.”
