Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz held a rally for the age group in the longest match in Roland-Garros history to win the French Open Men’s Championship for the second straight season.

Alcaraz was two sets behind, defeating top-ranked Jannik Sinner 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6, for five hours and 30 minutes in Sunday’s final.

It’s Alcaraz’s fifth professional professional who won his first place at the U.S. Open in 2022 and is Wimbledon’s defending doubles champion.

The loss won Sinner a 20-game winning streak, and Sinner didn’t drop the entire game until the final.

Sinner took the title in his fourth match, up 5-3 with a three-title point. Alcaraz roared for three straight games and hit the ball decisive fifth in the tiebreak.
