LONDON – British media reported on Tuesday that the person accused of tracking tennis player Emma Raducanu tried to get Wimbledon tickets but was blocked by the security systems of the all-English clubs.
The BBC and others reported that the man tried to apply for tickets through a public vote for the Grand Slam Championship that began on June 30. His name is marked red.
At the Dubai Championship in February, the man showed “fixed behavior” against 22-year-old Raducanu, who was frustrated during the game when she noticed him in the crowd.

After seeing the man’s stands, Radanu sheltered behind the referee’s chair in the second round against Karolina Muchova. Lakanu later said that she “can’t see tears” and tried to breathe before approaching the referee.
