French Open Gambling Guide: Epic Clay Stage Between Alcaraz

The second Grand Slam of the 2025 tennis season brings the potential to recompete among the world’s best and most-watched tennis stars.
On the men’s side, Betmgm’s odds maker treats Roland-Garros as ground zero, in an epic battle between defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and world-leading Jannik Sinner.
At +125, Alcaraz is regarded as a repetitive favorite. His decisive victory against sinners in this month’s Italian Open final is a masterclass in the form of impeccable clay. Alcaraz now beat the Sinners four straight games.
Sina’s defenders will point out that despite the three-month suspension, the Italians went deep into the Italian Open. At +180, Singer (Betmgm) odds manufacturer believes that the sinner will likely raise his Spanish nemesis again.
Who else can compete in Paris? Novak Djokovic (+1200) will return to the location of his 2024 Gold Medal Olympic performance. But the 24-time Grand Slam champion did not win the championship in 2025 and has not yet performed strongly.
Meanwhile, the world’s third-ranked Alexander Zverev (+1200) hopes to reenact his finals from last year. The seventh seed Casper Ruud provides an interesting value of +2000 when it comes to BetMGM. The Norwegian is a well-known clay court expert who appointed the finals at Philippe-Chatrier court in 2022 and 2023.
In the women’s draw, Aryna Sabalenka ended up in the Roland-Garros final, maybe there was never a better time. The world’s No. 1 game has been in the works for a while, winning three championships so far this year, and she has won 20 titles in her career.
Sabalenka aims to be Betmgm’s +225 joint most popular, the same as three-time defending French Open champion Iga Swiatek. But there is only one woman who is motivated to participate in the competition.
Swiatek owns the hardware and legacy of Roland-Garros, but Sabalenka’s current form. By her standards, Swiatek’s 2025 was bleak, feeling upset early in the recent Stuttgart and Rome matches. Still, Bettors at Betmgm still sees her at least reaching the finals and competing for a fourth title.
American Coco Gauff’s odds topped the list in a big tennis tournament and was in a third win at the French Open at +500 for the third time in a row in the WTA 1000 event.
Among the more contradictory people, Jasmine Paolini (+1200) is with her lineage (she finished the final in Paris last year) and her recent achievements (she won this month’s Italian Open). Paolini is 10-2 on clay this season, fourth in the world rankings.
