Five low-level French tennis players will receive a ban on linking to matches

LONDON – A low-ranking French tennis player was banned from lifelong participation in the sport, with four other banned suspensions ranging from two to ten years as matches were met with matches related to a Belgian joint organization, the International Tennis Integrity Agency said Friday.
At least 60 current or former players were punished for their connection to Grigor Sargsyan for five years in custody.
Yannick Thivant, 38, admitted that he had fixed 22 games (including 16 games he played) and received a $75,000 fine from 2017 to 2018 and a $75,000 fine. Thivant ranked 590th in career high in 2015.
Thomas Setodji, 29, was fined 10 years and $20,000 for being found to fix the responsibility for three games in 2017 and not reporting to him the corrupt people next year. Setodji’s best ranking was last year, when he was number 794.
Thomas Brechemier, 28, was suspended for 7 1/2 years and admitted to being fined after 11 games from 2017 to 2018. Brechemir’s best ranking is No. 399 in 2017.
Gabriel Petit, 29, was banned from use for 6 1/2 years and was fined after failing to respond to ITIA’s allegations, which the integrity agency believes is an acceptance of responsibility. Petit, who ranked 450th in the 2018 rankings, was accused of playing seven games in 2017 and 2018.
Hugo Daubias, 28, admitted he was suspended for two years and fined $15,000 after he recovered two games in 2017. He was ranked the highest in 2017 with a career-high of 972.
