Canadian Gabriel Diallo loses first match at Delray Beach Open

Canada’s Gabriel Diallo lost his first match of the Delray Beach Open men’s tennis tournament on Tuesday.
Australia’s Adam Walton beat Montreal’s Diallo in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-3.
The pair held serve in the first set, setting up a tie-break. Walton led 5-2 and eventually won the final two points on serve.
The Australian seized the only break opportunity of the game to lead 2-0. Diallo was unable to equalize with a break of his own, but Walton held his serve and won the match.
Walton ended up with five aces, one more than Diallo. He also had no double faults, compared to Diallo’s one.
Diallo’s break chances were also 0-for-1.
