Preview of Spurs vs. Lakers NBA, picks, and predictions

It will be a preview of the Western Conference playoff series when the Los Angeles Lakers host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. That’s how Los Angeles bounced back after losing at home to Oklahoma City 119-110 on Monday. San Antonio hasn’t played since Saturday.
Let’s get into my predictions for Spurs vs. Lakers.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers odds
Money line: Spurs -275 / Lakers +225
Spread: Spurs -8.5 (-110) / Lakers +8.5 (-110)
Total: Over 228.5 (-110) / Under 228.5 (-110)
San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers best bet #1: Over 228.5 (-110)
The Lakers have already played eight in a row this season. Five of those eight second legs produced at least 230 points. Also, the over is 3-0 in Spurs’ last three games and 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
LeBron James took the court on both legs of his team’s last two comebacks. With Luka Doncic sidelined with an injury and missing Monday, the Lakers really need LeBron on the floor this time. He has scored 20 or more points in five of his last six games. As for Spurs, they held their own following a 2-3 draw. They are in the midst of a four-game winning streak, putting up 135 and 138 points in their last two contests – both against Dallas. On the other side of the floor, the Spurs gave up 123 and 125 points to the Mavs in those two games.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers best player prop bet: De’Aaron Fox Over 5.5 assists (-140)
Fox has seven assists in six of his last seven games. It’s no surprise, as San Antonio scores a lot and has a lot of weapons eagerly awaiting deployment. Apart from Victor Wembanyama scoring goals, there are seven other seven players (including Fox) who scored two goals. That includes Stephon Castle, who had a double-double with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists on Saturday.
Against what could be a tired Lakers defense, the Spurs should be able to beat them with ball movement. Even at a price of -140, this Fox prop bet is good value.
