De Minaur is defeated by ruud to win the last att event of 2025

It may be the first week of December, but tennis is still being played.

The 2026 uts Grand Final was held over the weekend in London, where Alex de Minaur lifted the medal. De Minaur knocked out Casper Ruud 11-15, 15-10, 15-11, 16-7 in the championship match of the short format tournament on Sunday.

This marks the second consecutive year of the last major success of Austral-in-Australia, which was won last year in London.

“It’s amazing to win here again,” De Minaur is assured. “London is a special place for me and it’s my home now, so it’s always great to play in this event and it’s better to win again….

“There’s no rest for me now. I might take Monday off, but then it’s back on the court for the new season.”

Other participants in London were Andrey Rublev, Ugo Humbert, Tomas Machac, Adrian Mannarino, David Goffin, and Francisco Cere. Rublel and Humbert reached the semi-finals before losing to Rud and De Minaur, respectively, earlier on Sunday.

Machac (Guadalajara), ruud (nimes), and Cerundolo (Hong Kong) were the winners of the three UTS events in regular time, which earned them spots in the Grand Prix. Makhec was also runner-up for Nimes, while Goffin missed out on the Guadalajara Final.
