The Davis Cup Draw was held this past weekend in Bologna, Italy. A total of 27 nations who want to join the Italians in the Davis Cup Finals have learned where their journey will begin next year.
Italy, the defending champion for the third time after beating Spain on Sunday, earns automatic entry to the finals by virtue of hosting. As runners-up 2025-up, the Spaniards get a call-up to the second round of qualifications. They will only have to win one tie to make a repeat appearance in Bologna. The other 26 countries in the bracket will have to win both the first and second round ties.
2026 The Davis Cup competition starts on the weekend of February 6. The winning teams will play in the second round starting on September 18.
