The Teen’s Tenthrough 2025 Campaign continued with his first ATP title at the Moselle open on Saturday afternoon. Tien came back from 5-1 down in the third set to beat Cameron Norrie 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (6).

The 19-year-old American reeled off five points in a row to take a 6-5 advantage in the ‘Breaker. He missed his first championship point but called the second chance at 7-6 to cross the finish line in two hours and 10 minutes.

“I never take it for granted, to come out here and win and compete,” Teen said during the trophy ceremony. “So holding this course means the world to me, and I’m just really grateful. I want to thank my team, those who are there, throughout this year, for all of this.”

With his win in Metz, Tien moved up 10 spots to the No. 1 ranking. 28 in the world. He is almost guaranteed to be humiliated at the 2026 Australian open.

The left-hander still has one event left on his 2025 schedule—if he decides to play. He is currently 3rd in the race to the atp finals, behind Jakub Mensik and Joao Fonseca. Tien finished Runner-Up to Fonseca in the 2024 job, so he may be inclined to make repeated appearances in Jeddah in the hope of going one step further.
