The big 11 game slide in the NBA on Wednesday is watched by a double header on ESPN against the San Antonio Spurs who come out of the gates quickly at 2025-2 in Antonio entering at 5-1 and Los Antos boasting a 6-2 record.

Let’s dive into my predictions for spurs vs.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers Adds

Money Line: Spurs +114 / Lakers -135
Spread: Spurs +2.5 (-110 (-110) / Lakers -2.5 (-110)
Total: Over 227.5 (-112) / Under 227.5 (-108)

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers Best Bet #1: Lakers -2.5 (-110)

The Lakers have enjoyed a lot of recent success in this game. They are 9-2 in combined and back-to-back head-to-head games in the 20222223 season and have won the last five games. LA is 4-0 against the air in their last four, 6-1 ATS in their last seven, and 3-1 in ATS in their last four H2H. As long as Austin Ries (Groin) plays, Los Angeles should be in line for more success on Wednesday. LeBron James has yet to play in 2025-26 due to a sciatica problem, but Luka Donic is back from a four-game absence. Doncic scored 44 points last Friday against Memphis before producing a triple with 29 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds two days later against Miami.

Victor Wembonyama is doing everything for Spurs, but he is nowhere near his usual consistency of assists at the moment. De’aron Fox has yet to play this season with a hamstring problem and rookie Dylan Harper will miss at least the next few weeks after suffering a torn calf last weekend. Jeremy Sochan, Luka Kornet, Lory Waters, Kelly Olynyk also left San Antonio.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers Player Bet: Austin puts up more than 36.5 points + rebounds + assists (-118)

The Raves have surpassed this average with a modest 36.5 per game so far in 2025-26. The former Oklahoma standout is averaging 311.1 points, 9.3 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game. He scored 51 and 41 points in back-to-back games against Sacramento and Portland in late October.

With James still ruled out, Weaves remains LA’s second offensive option behind Doncic. With Doncic back from his injury issues, the rating scores could take a bit of a hit. But his assist numbers should go up. In addition, the Lakers will likely do most of their damage from the perimeter on Wednesday – and that’s where the consolations grow. After all, the spurs have Wambonyama down and are missing a fox and a hampe in the backcourt.
