De Minaur vs. bublik, auger-aliassime vs vafutot

(13) Alexander Bublik vs. (6) Alex de Minaur
The head-to-head history between de Minaur and Bublik can be thrown out the window ahead of Friday’s rolex paris masters coghterfinal showdown. De Minaur won their first three meetings, but those were extended before the current version of Bublik was shown. They faced the same this season, when the bublik was illegally dug in the double hole to stun de Minaur 2-6, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6- 6-2 at Roland Garros.

That result was the one that greatly affected Bublik’s operation, which continues to this day. The 16-ranked Kazakh has won four ATP titles in the last four months and continued his hot form with victories in Paris over Alexei Poprin, Taylor Moutet, and Taylor Fritz-all in straight sets. De Minaur advanced with wins over Gabriel Diallo and Karen Khachanov, the latter of which secured sixth place for the Aussie at the NITTTO ATP Finals on Thursday. That would take away some of the urgency, which might not be a good thing for De Minaur. It doesn’t matter if the game is in doubt with Bublik’s racket. De Minaur will need help to win it – and now Bublik has no opponents – what? Help.

(WC) Valentin Vapeherot vs. (9) Felix auger-alias-alias
Like that time with bublik, the emergence of vacursot was one of the news of the year in thennis. For the 26-year-old from Monaco, he arrived in a flash – quick and out of nowhere. He captured the Shanghai title as a title and extended his reign of 1000 kings with a hard-fought match win (two to be exact) by beating Jiri Lehecka, Arthur Rindernech, and Cameron Norrie earlier this week.
Unfortunately for VacurTot, the level of competition gets tougher on Fridays. Lehecka appears to have checked out for the 2025 season, while both Rindennech and Norrie (who upset Carlos Alcaraz) were unsupported. Auger-Aliassime, on the other hand, has been playing at the highest level of the Top-Fivere he has accumulated in the US Open and is an absolute force inside. The 10th-ranked Canadian is the only winner on his way into the nitto ATP Finals after knocking out Francisco Loweana, Alexandre Muller, and Daniel Altmaier to reach the final in Paris. Check out auger-aliasime for the best of competition, high convergence.
