Felix auger – Aliassime beats Alex de Minaur to reach semifinals in our Open

Felix Auger-Aliassime passed another major test at the U.S. Open.

The Canadians defeated No. 8 seed Alex de Minaur 4-6, 7-6, 7-5, 7-6 to reach the semi-finals of the Grand Slam Championship.

This is the first time Auger-Aliassime has entered the semi-finals of Flushing Meadows since 2021.

In the third and 15 rounds of elimination of Alexander Zverev in the third round, the 25th seed beat Alexander Zverev in 16 rounds to win three top 20 seeds.

Now, Auger-Aliassime will wait for the final quarterfinals between defending Italian champion Jannick Sinner and 10th place Lorenzo Musetti. That game will be held on Friday.

No. 2 seed Carlos Alcaraz and No. 7 seed Novak Djokovic will clash in another semifinal.
