Canada’s Gabriel Diallo loses in Winston-Salem Open’s third round

Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo was eliminated in the third round of the Winston-Salem Open hard drive tennis match and lost 6-4, 6-2 to Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic on Wednesday.
Medjedovic dominated the serve, launching eight A’s, winning 75% of the service points and saving the only breakthrough point he faced.
Diallo, who ranked fourth in the ATP 250 event, had trouble serving and defended only one of the four breakthrough points he faced.
This is Diallo’s first game.
When US qualifier Nishesh Basavareddy exited the game, he saw him in the first round and advanced in the second round.
Next, Medjedovic will face France’s ninth seed Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the quarterfinals.
